YEP, The Balance Testing Sucked!!!!!!!

This wasn't part of the testing , but it might as well had been!!!! Somehow I knew things were going to go very wrong.

And they did!

I'll tell you all about it later because, well my head is still swimming.

I will say though true to form I puked up the place. At least they didn't make me take the last test.

As I was leaving with my cold wet cloth draped over my forehead, barf bag in one hand, cup of cold water in the other, I couldn't help but say...

No, I just said "Thanks for the good time.....I'm never coming here again!!"

That does not sound good. I hope you are feeling better at this point. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. : )

Nana, I hope you get good results from those horrid tests, and that it's not spinocerebellar ataxia. But at least you got them good with a little puke to remember you by. I think that is good luck in some countries.

I'm sorry it didn't go well. I hope you feel better soon. Did you at least get to puke on a doctor or nurse?

Them B#st#rds! haha. I love your take on things.

Love it.

Though I am sorry about the crap you are going through. Testing is a drag.

My daughter, Katy, had truncal (sp?) ataxia (the middle of her body), they ordered an MRI to look at- you guessed it- her cerebellum. They suspected it was damaged.

It wasnt. Nothing was weird. I thank God with all my heart. Her ataxia ended when her seizure meds were changed.

I'm sure puking is not new to them. They get used to all kinds of gross stuff. I hate to have any kind of testing done. I just live in denial. You are one brave girl. Mimi

When I first happened upon this post, I thought, Nana hitting the bottle again...or maybe she is just really loopy for too many Pepsi's. However, I continued reading and saw the post about your Dad. Terribly sorry to read your news, but I am glad that you are getting the medical attention you need in order to properly diagnose your headaches.

Today is a new day. I hope your world has stopped spinning (at least temporarily) and you will have the results from your tests back soon.

Be well, Nana.

I'm so sorry you upchucked all over the place...hey they had it coming for being so darn mean!!

I was sitting here reading this post....and I saw the "ice picture" on your sidebar and just started LAUGHING. I had to show it to my hubby because he thinks I'm NUTS. There was this little Dairy Queen in the town I lived in that had crushed ice..and I would go there for a coke every single day. When I moved from Utah out here to Massachusetts that was the thing I missed most. I kept lamenting about how horrible it was to live some place where there was no crushed ice! He just doesn't get the importance of that in a persons life. Why am I not surprised that YOU do. I swear we were seperated at birth lol.

THis is Nick. I find it humorous that the last sentance is right next to Barf-A-Rama. I couldn't agree more.
